I am Nathan HamielĀ an Information Security professional, artist, and a thinker. My day job consists of being a Principal Consultant focusing on application security for an Information Security consulting firm. I am also an Associate Professor at UAT. I founded an independent security think-tank called the Hexagon Security Group. I have also been known to write some lines of Python ;) I was one of the original developers of the FairuzaWRT project, the first hacking oriented firmware built for the Linksys WRT54G/S wireless routers. Lately I have been focusing on tools for testing web applications. Recently I wrote a tool called MonkeyFist that implements Dynamic CSRF attacks.

I am not claiming to be anything special or that I know more than anyone else. I have never referred to myself as a “ninja” or anything like that. I just like to share my observations that’s all. I certainly don’t know everything. I attend and speak at many conferences so if you see me be sure and say hello.

Ok, I am done boring you now. I know if you are looking at this page you must be pretty bored ;)

If you would like to contact me you may do so.
